We started the year by sharing some of our favourite photos on social media from a variety of photographers who visited Cabot in 2019. Each week was dedicated to a different photographer's work, resulting in an incredible collection of photos! 

As we all look forward to getting back out on the course, these photos have us reminiscing on some great memories!

Why is it that Father’s Day and golf seem to go together so perfectly? We think it might have something to do with the memories shared amongst father and family on the course!

It is always a special experience when people choose to celebrate important life moments and milestones with us here at Cabot. It serves as a great reminder that golf can be about so much more than just swinging a club and chasing a little white ball.

This year, we are celebrating fathers everywhere by reflecting on some great #CabotStories from our guests. Whether you are a father yourself, or are celebrating a father in your life today, we hope these stories inspire you to pick up a club and make some memories with those close to you this summer!

Women’s Golf Day is an event celebrating women and girls playing golf and learning skills that last a lifetime. A four-hour global experience, Women’s Golf Day events have been held at over 900 venues in 52 countries with participation from over 50,000 women and girls over the past three years. As an official WGD location, Cabot joined the celebration this year by hosting our very own Women’s Golf Day event. In the spirit of growing the game, we invited women from across the province to join us for a day of golf here at Cabot. With experience ranging from beginners to decorated scratch golfers, we had a little something for everyone including two full golf clinics! Above is a photo of our WGD participants for 2019.

Cabot was recently listed as one of the World’s Top Honeymoon Destinations according to Town & Country Magazine. Cape Breton has long been known as a top romantic destination, with Vacay.ca naming the island Canada’s #1 romantic destination in 2012 and Travel and Leisure ranking it the #1 Island in Canada in 2018. We are honoured to be included in these lists and figured we should share some of the aspects of the resort that make us a romantic destination for couples and newlyweds! From romantic strolls (with golf clubs or without), to elegant accommodations, inspired dining, dramatic sunsets, and starry night skies, every Cabot experience comes with a little extra spark!

The New Year is here and it has us counting down the days until the 2019 golf season. With the holidays behind us, we thought it would be a good time to reflect on 2018 and all the great moments it brought us! 

From tournaments, to podcasts, to hole-in-one's and more, we squeezed a lot of good times into the year. We are grateful for everyone who took part in making 2018 our best season yet, and we can't wait to make more memories in 2019!

When it comes to Cabot Links and Cabot Cliffs, there are few people in the world more knowledgeable than our Caddies. Expertly trained, our A Caddies offer invaluable insight into pin placements, yardage, strategy, club selection, and, last but not least, moral support!

To give an idea of the knowledge our caddies have to offer, we spoke with seven of our Top A Level Caddies for a few of their favourite Cabot golf tips. While it won’t compare to walking the courses with a Caddie of your own, we hope you find these wise words helpful as you go into your next round!
